Heart for the House
GIVING SUNDAY AUG 21 2022
In a world disillusioned and struggling with the pressures of the pandemic, God's kingdom remains unshakeable and His tremendous love for humanity is constant.
God has purposed His Church to prepare a home for those who are lost, fearful, lonely and searching for meaning and answers and to share with the world that hope, healing and forgiveness can only be found in Jesus Christ.
What is Heart for the House?
It has always been our heart at Max Life Church to prepare a home for people to encounter Jesus.
One way that we have seen this vision start to be fulfilled is through ‘Heart for the House’. Every year in July/August, our church family has the opportunity to sow into a special 'Heart for the House' offering, which goes towards investing in our future. Weekly tithes and offerings cover the day to day running expenses of our church, but through 'Heart for the House' we have been able to provide not just for our current needs, but to build a legacy for many years to come.
This year's Heart for House vision
At the end of last year through a miraculous move of God we were able to purchase 12 McRay St, the rented part of our premises (entrance, foyer, kid's rooms, toilets, inc service station lease). We had previously rented this building and prayed and believed that God would make a way for us to be able to purchase it one day. To buy this property we needed to extend our bankloan and for this year's Heart for the House Offering we are believing to pay an extra $20,000 off our debt. This is a tremendous opportunity to invest in the future of our church and in the lives of people yet to come.
Our Heart for the House Celebration Sunday will be held on August 21st. On this day there will be a time to bring our offerings, pray into the future of our church and hear about how God is working in people’s lives.
We are so grateful for your love, faithfulness, and generosity . We are praying and believing that God will continue to use us to help our generation and many generations into the future encounter Jesus.
